This Privacy Policy explains how Ananda Leigh, working as Sacred Birth (“I,” “me,” or “we”), collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit this website or reach out to work with me as a holistic doula and birth photographer serving families in Florida. Birth is intimate, and your privacy is held with the same care I bring to the room. If anything here is unclear, write to me at healing@anandaleigh.com.

The information I collect

Information you give me. When you request a discovery session or contact me, I collect the details you choose to share — typically your name, email address, phone number, your due date or birth details, and anything you tell me about what you are looking for. As we work together, you may share further information about your pregnancy, birth, and family.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, standard analytics data is gathered — the pages you view, your approximate location, and general device and browser information. This is used in aggregate to understand how the site is found and used.

Photographs. As part of birth photography, I create images of you, your baby, and the people present at your birth. How those images may be used is described below and governed by the release you sign.

How I use your information

I use the information I collect to respond to your inquiry, schedule and hold your discovery session, provide doula and photography services, deliver your images, keep in touch about your care, and improve this website. I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it except as described below.

Booking and payment

The discovery-session request form and scheduling calendar on this site are provided through my client-management platform, GoHighLevel, which stores the details you submit so that I can reply to you. The site itself does not take payment. If we move forward, the $55 discovery session is paid after I reply to you, through a secure third-party payment processor via a link I send by email. Your card details are handled entirely by that processor — they never pass through this website, and I never see or store them.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics and Google Search Console (connected through the Site Kit plugin) to understand traffic and search performance. These services set cookies — small files stored by your browser — to measure visits. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on. Refusing cookies will not stop you from using the site.

Who I share information with

I share information only with the service providers who help me run my practice, and only as needed:

GoHighLevel — hosts the contact form, scheduling, and client records.
Google — website analytics and search reporting.
A secure payment processor — handles the discovery-session payment off-site.
My website host and email provider — keep the site online and let me correspond with you.

Each of these processes your information on my behalf and is expected to protect it. I may also disclose information if required by law. I never sell your data.

Your photographs and consent

Your birth images are yours to treasure. I use images in my portfolio, on social media, or in marketing only with your written permission, given through a photo release. You may decline that use entirely and still receive your gallery, and you may withdraw permission for future use at any time by writing to me. Any images that include children are used publicly only with the consent of their parent or guardian.

How long I keep your information

I keep your contact and client information for as long as needed to provide your services and to meet ordinary business and legal record-keeping needs, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Delivered image galleries and archives are retained according to the terms of your service agreement.

Your rights

You may ask me to access, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, and you may opt out of marketing messages at any time. To make a request, email healing@anandaleigh.com. Depending on where you live — for example, California or the European Union / United Kingdom — you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; I honor those rights where they apply.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults and is not directed to children. I do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 16. (This is separate from photographing your child as part of your birth story, which is always done with your consent.)

Security

I take reasonable measures to protect your information, and the platforms I rely on maintain their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security, but I treat your information with genuine care.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. When I do, I will revise the date at the top of this page.
